WHY OUR WOOD?

Our wood is an eco friendly alternative to traditionally harvested lumber.  A large percent of the proceeds from the purchase of our lumber goes back into the rehabilitation of the lakes we are retrieving from.

THE WHY

Environment & Revival

 

During the 19th and 20th centuries, log drives were an efficient means of transporting lumber to sawmills and during this journey some of the logs sank creating vast underwater forests. It was then determined that the bark from these sunken logs was compromising the ecosystems of the lakes by creating dangerous pockets methane gasses and choking off oxygen supplies to aquatic life.  

 

CERTIFIED DIVERS & HARD WORK 

We work within the guidelines of provincial and federal environmental organizations to ensure the rehablitiation.

 

The team of dedicated divers work tirelessly to clear the lake beds thus avoiding deforestation and bringing these sleeping giants back to life.   All of our divers are certified and experienced folllowing all the environmental  guidelines to safely bring these logs to shore.
